Warranty Policy
How warranties work here
Products sold by Ray Electric Bikes carry the warranty offered by their manufacturer. Terms differ by brand and by component, so the warranty stated on each product page is the one that applies to that model. Where we have not received written confirmation of a term from the manufacturer, the field is marked as awaiting confirmation rather than filled with an assumed value.
Typically covered
Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship in the frame, motor, battery, controller, display and originally fitted components, for the period the manufacturer specifies, for the original purchaser, with proof of purchase.
Typically excluded
- Normal wear items: tires, tubes, brake pads, chains, cables, grips, saddles and bearings
- Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, racing or stunt riding
- Damage from improper assembly, unauthorized repair or non-approved parts
- Damage from water ingress caused by pressure-washing or submersion
- Battery capacity loss consistent with normal ageing and use
- Corrosion from road salt where the bike was not cleaned and maintained
- Any bike with a modified or bypassed speed limiter or controller
- Commercial or rental use, unless the manufacturer explicitly allows it
- Cosmetic marks that do not affect function
Making a claim
- Contact us with your order number, the model, and a clear description of the fault.
- Include photographs or video, plus the display error code where one is shown.
- We assess the claim and, where required, refer it to the manufacturer.
- If approved, the remedy is repair, replacement parts or replacement, at the manufacturer’s discretion.
Keep your proof of purchase. Warranties are generally not transferable to a second owner. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable federal or state consumer law.
