Frequently Asked Questions
Ordering, delivery, returns, warranty, parts and riding.
How do I choose between Class 1, 2 and 3?
Class 1 is pedal assist only to 20 mph, Class 2 adds a throttle to 20 mph, and Class 3 assists to 28 mph. Class 3 is faster for commuting but is restricted in more places and often carries age and helmet requirements. Check your state and local rules before choosing.
How accurate are the advertised range figures?
They are manufacturer claims measured under favorable conditions. Expect less in cold weather, on hills, into wind, with cargo, or at high assist. We publish the manufacturer figure and do not add our own estimate.
Do you ship to my state?
We ship within the United States. Availability for Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and PO box or APO/FPO addresses is confirmed at checkout. See the Shipping Policy.
How long does delivery take?
Dispatch and delivery windows are shown at checkout and on the product page. Bikes are large and may ship by freight, which can require a delivery appointment.
Can I return a bike I have ridden?
Returns must be in unused or as-new condition with all original packaging. A bike with added mileage or wear may be refused or refunded in part. See the Return and Refund Policy.
What warranty comes with my bike?
Each product carries its manufacturer’s warranty, which differs by brand and component and is stated on the product page. See the Warranty Policy.
How much assembly is needed?
It varies by model and is stated on each product page. Trikes and cargo bikes need more work than standard bicycles. You can request an assembly quote from any product page.
Can I buy a replacement battery later?
Yes, where the manufacturer supplies one for your model and model year. Tell us your exact model and year and we will confirm compatibility before you order. Never fit a non-approved battery.
Is financing available?
Yes, through an approved third-party provider. Approval, rate and term are set by that provider. See Financing Information.
Can I ride in the rain or snow?
Most e-bikes tolerate rain, but water-resistance ratings vary by model and none should be pressure-washed or submerged. Wide tires help on snow but do not make ice safe. See our winter guidance.
How do I track my order?

Do you price match?
