Electric trikes for stability and load carrying

A trike stays upright at a standstill, which makes starting, stopping and loading much easier if balance, joint pain or a heavy load is the reason you stopped cycling. The rear basket carries shopping, tools or a crate without towing a trailer.

Trikes handle differently from two-wheelers, particularly in corners and on cambered roads. Each product page states the payload limit, turning behaviour and assembly requirement exactly as the manufacturer supplies them.

Common questions

What is the difference between Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 e-bikes?

Class 1 bikes provide pedal assist only and stop assisting at 20 mph. Class 2 bikes add a throttle that can propel the bike without pedaling, also limited to 20 mph. Class 3 bikes are pedal assist up to 28 mph and often have no throttle or a throttle limited to 20 mph. Which classes you may ride, and where, is set by state and local law. See our E-Bike Laws by State page.

How much range will I actually get?

Manufacturer range figures are measured under favorable conditions. Real-world range depends on rider and cargo weight, terrain, wind, temperature, tire pressure and which assist level you use. A practical planning rule is to take the claimed figure and assume you will see meaningfully less on hilly routes, in cold weather, or when riding at higher assist levels. We publish the manufacturer’s claimed range and do not add our own estimate.

Do you ship across the United States?

We ship within the United States. Available shipping methods, charges and dispatch information are shown at checkout and on each product page. See our Shipping Policy for full details.

Is financing available?

Financing is offered through an approved third-party provider. Terms, approval and eligibility are decided by that provider, not by Ray Electric Bikes. See our Financing Information page.

How much assembly is required?

Assembly requirements vary by model and are listed on each product page using the manufacturer’s own description. Trikes and cargo bikes are more involved than standard bicycles. You can request an assembly quote from any product page if you would prefer professional setup.

Can I speak to someone before ordering?

Yes. Every product page has a “Contact Us About This Bike” button and a request-more-information form, and you can reach our support team by phone or email during published business hours.
